Angela is a senior leader with more than 30 years’ experience across health, social care and international development. Her career began as a public health field officer across East and Southern Africa, shaping a lifelong commitment to people, equity and purposeful leadership.

She has held board‑level and executive roles across UK health systems, local government and international programmes, contributing to governance, quality, strategy and organisational resilience. Today, Angela is the CEO of ACT Health Ltd, supporting STEM organisations and their HR and talent‑specialist partners to strengthen workforce resilience and people‑centred risk management.

Her work is anchored in a clear purpose: advancing the health and wellbeing of people, families and organisations in a post‑Covid, AI‑driven world.

The talk: The Hidden Risk in PeopleOps: How Health Disruption Impacts Productivity, Talent and Growth

Workforce health risk is one of the most overlooked business risks facing STEM, biotech and innovation-led organisations. When people become unwell, projects stall, deadlines slip and critical expertise becomes unavailable. Drawing on over 30 years across health, social care and international development, Angela reveals how PeopleOps leaders can identify hidden vulnerabilities, reduce health-related disruption and strengthen workforce resilience in a post-Covid, AI driven world.

Her work is strategic, commercially grounded and focused on delivering meaningful, lasting impact.

She has worked with organisations of varying size from a range of sectors including finance, advertising, professional services, healthcare, retail, leisure and logistics. Her culture change work has been recognised through industry awards, reflecting the impact and sustainability of the change achieved.

The Talk: Thriving in times of uncertainty

Uncertainty is a constant in today’s workplace, with myriad external factors, restructures, shifting policies, workforce anxieties, and the need to make decisions without clear information, the list goes on. Yet how we navigate uncertainty often comes down to something deceptively simple: the conversations we have.

Together, we'll explore what distinguishes the conversations that help us move through ambiguity from those that leave us and others more stuck. You'll leave with practical insights you can use for yourself and with your colleagues to build a stronger feeling of thriving rather than just surviving through uncertainty.
