We're back for our second Romantasy Book Club Oxford meet-up, and we'd love you to join us!

After a lovely first gathering in October, we're continuing to build a welcoming community for readers who love romantasy, fantasy romance, paranormal romance and all things bookish.

Whether you're a lifelong fantasy reader, newly discovering the genre, or simply looking to meet people who understand your obsession with fictional worlds (and questionable fictional men 👀), you're very welcome here.

Do I need to read the monthly book?

Absolutely not!

Our monthly pick gives us something fun to read and discuss together, but this club is about so much more than one book. You're welcome whether you've finished it, started it, or haven't picked it up at all.

We're also building our community beyond the monthly meet-ups, with opportunities to connect between events, join future activities and share our love of books.

A few things to know

Tickets are free, but places are limited.

Food and drinks are purchased individually.

You're very welcome to attend alone — that's how many new friendships begin!

Please cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend, so somebody on the waiting list can join.

Following attendance, you'll also have the opportunity to join our book club group chat and stay connected with fellow members between meet-ups.

We can't wait to see some familiar faces and welcome some new ones!
