Description: Looking to learn more about Adult Support and Protection?
Join us for this in-person training session where you'll gain basic awareness on how to safeguard vulnerable adults.
This interactive 3 ½ hour workshop will introduce you to Adult Support and Protection through activities, videos, and presentations and is perfect for anyone interested in understanding the importance of supporting and protecting adults in need.
You will learn about:
What Adult Protection is
Recognising harm
Your role and responsibilities in responding to concerns
The ‘Perth and Kinross Multi-Agency Guidelines’
Increasing your confidence in recognising and referring appropriately
This learning opportunity is open to everyone!
Venue Information: Non-PKC employees should arrive at Pullar House Reception by 09:15am to book in. I will meet you there to take you to the training room. If you are running late, please call 07970447637. Thank you, Leigh Must, Learning and Development Officer.
Further Information: Please provide 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your place. Failure to do so or non-attendance may incur a £50 charge.
