Join us for an informative and practical session designed to help community groups, volunteers, and organisers understand the basics of risk assessment. This workshop will guide you through the process of identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, and implementing appropriate control measures to ensure activities, events, and projects are delivered safely.

The session will include real-life examples from community activities, helping participants understand how risk assessments can be applied in practice. Attendees will also have the opportunity to develop a sample risk assessment with guidance and support from experienced trainers.

No previous experience is required. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share experiences, and discuss activities relevant to your group, helping you gain the confidence to plan and deliver safe and successful projects
