Perth & Kinross Countryside Trust host a series of talks and discussion on issues affecting watercourses, wetlands, meadows and more.

A gathering to celebrate the Nature Connections Partnership Perth and Kinross to keep building the network with a watery and grassy theme this time around. This event is for anyone with an interest in being involved with nature conservation - land managers, community groups, industry professionals, volunteers, students, all welcome just book your place.

With carbon credits focused upon trees and peatland, the valuable role played by grasslands and waterbodies in performing ecosystem services may be somewhat overlooked. Today we bring a range of speakers involved in the management of these habitats and invite discussion on the issues, challenges and opportunities present in the current climate.

We plan to hold round table discussions and stalls as well as provision of a light lunch. The Nature Connections Perth & Kinross Partnership networking platform will also be launched to help keep participants informed and involved on opportunities including funding, events, courses, collaboration offers and more across the sectors. This is all kindly supported by our partner Climate Connect Perth & Kinross.

More speakers and agenda details coming soon - watch this space! Any queries please contact Jen Davidson, Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust Conservation and Projects Officer Email: jennifer.davidson@pkct.org.uk
