Join us at the Norrie Miller Studio at The Perth Concert Hall for a knowledge and practice sharing event exploring older men and creativity.

Preceded by a free networking lunch, this afternoon of knowledge sharing and networking will include presentations from:

The Wise Guys, Highland Print Studio’s print-making programme for older men

Open Book, a Scotland-wide reading and creative writing organisation

Westerton Male Voice Choir, from Bearsden

The afternoon will be chaired by Jim Tough, and there will be plenty of time for discussion. Freelancers are invited to claim their travel expenses to attend this event.

Informed by The Baring Foundation’s recent report, Missing Out: Creative Ageing and Men - The Baring Foundation, the event will consider approaches to engaging men in creative ageing programmes across Scotland.

This event would be of particular interest to freelance artists, representatives from cultural, arts, or community organisations, and/or people whose work involves supporting older people.

A complimentary lunch will be served at midday, and the event will begin at 1pm. Tea and coffee will be served during the afternoon, and we will be finished by 3.45pm.

Due to limited event capacity, we ask that organisations send a maximum of one representative per organisation. We advise that you book quickly as we expect this event to be popular!
