Discover the fascinating world of fungi at one of the UK’s most unique nature reserves!

Join us for a guided walk through Holme Fen (https://www.greatfen.org.uk/holme-fen) NNR, home to a rich variety of woodland and wetland fungi. Led by a knowledgeable fungi enthusiast, this walk will explore the hidden life of mushrooms, toadstools, and other curious species growing beneath the silver birch trees and on the fenland floor.

You’ll learn how to identify different types of fungi and understand their role in the ecosystem. Expect a relaxed pace with plenty of stops to observe and discuss finds. Perfect for anyone keen to learn more about fungi in a friendly, informative setting.
