We will be helping with foreshore Clean up with Commercial Diving and Maritime Ltd. (CDM) at Cornwall Beach, Devonport, Plymouth- contracted by Ministry of Defence (MOD).

We will be assisting CDM with a foreshore clean up on Sunday 11th October from 11am-3pm.

We will be working at spring low tide and working to collect the small rubbish into a skip that has been provided by CDM.

The SHIPS Project 1000 Tyres Project will collaborate with CleanOur Patch on this foreshore clean-up.

Meet just in front of the Steam Packet Inn Pub. The pub is just in front of the walkway down to Cornwall Beach.

• Who can join in?

Anyone aged 14 and up, accompanied by a parent or guardian. You should be in reasonably good health, as we will be working on the foreshore and getting rather muddy

This will be a very muddy job, so please dress appropriately.

Please Bring:

• Work boots, tough Wellies or waterproof boots

• Clothes you dont mind getting covered in mud

• Bring or wear clothing appropriate for the weather, if sunny, please bring a hat and sunscreen. If rainy and chilly, please bring rain gear and underlayers.

• Please bring your own drinkinh water, snacks and food.

We will provide:

• Tools for the job! We will have digging tools, bags, buckets, ropes, and other equipment needed for digging and recovering rubbish from the foreshore.

• Nitrile Gloves & Work Gloves

• High Vis Vests

• We will supply soap and a fresh water station to wash off at.

Places are limited, so please book early. If you can not make it, please let us know so we can open your spot to someone else.
