About This Event

Hospiscare Does Dartmoor in a Day will take place on Saturday 5 September 2026, concluding at Ivybridge Community College in Plymouth. Participants will join the main Dartmoor in a Day event for the final 30 kilometres of a fully supported crossing, traversing some of the most remote and striking parts of the moor. This challenge is open to both walkers and runners who are raising funds for Hospiscare, a local hospice charity. While the full route covers 50 kilometres, the Hospiscare segment offers a 30-kilometre option, allowing supporters to tackle a demanding but achievable distance across challenging terrain. Entry fees and sponsorship details are available on the charity’s website, where those interested can find all the information needed to take part and support the vital care provided by Hospiscare.
