Making new friends when you’re over 50 can be really hard.

Honestly, where do you go?

When we’re younger, friendships often happen naturally. But as we get older, it can become much harder to meet new people, and often our friendship circle gets smaller along the way. Whether through retirement, relocating, lack of time, or friends simply no longer around you, you might simply find yourself wishing you had a few more friends in your life to meet up with.

That’s why I started The Loop Social.

I’m Helen, and I'd love to invite you to join me over coffee and meet other new ladies, just like you, all coming along for the very first time. It’s informal - just coffee, the opportunity to meet, chat and get to know some new women, and find out a little more about The Loop.

And if you feel a bit nervous about coming along, please don’t worry - everyone's coming for the first time, and I’ll be there to meet you by the door so we're easy to find, introduce you to a few people, and help you settle in.

The Loop is all about bringing women together - giving you the chance to meet other likeminded women, spend time together and let friendships grow naturally.

We have lots of lovely regular events and gatherings - walks, meals out, trips, workshops, evenings out, wellbeing events, book club and plenty more. There's always something in your diary to look forward to, new experiences to try and plently of chances to get involved, meet up and spend time together.

The events are what bring us together, but friendship is always at the heart of it.

So if you'd love a few more women in your life to share things with, come and have a coffee with us.

You’ll arrive on your own, but may leave having met women you’d really like to see again.
