It’s 1929, and Hollywood is finding its voice. But on one troubled film set, the production is falling behind schedule and the most important scene has yet to be shot.
With time running out, a frustrated director fights to keep his picture alive while an increasingly furious producer watches his investment edge towards disaster. Beneath the glamour of Old Hollywood, egos clash, rivalries simmer, and the arrival of the talkies threatens to expose more than a few uncomfortable secrets.
