About This Event

The Our Land Flows...from Peat to Pipe event will take place on 16 September 2026 at Drake's Place Reservoir in Plymouth. The event is a guided walk and talk exploring water in Plymouth and its connections to Dartmoor. The event is free to attend.

Guided walk, talk and celebration event exploring water in Plymouth and how it links back to Dartmoor's watery places

Join us for a guided walk and talk exploring water in the City of Plymouth and how it links back to Dartmoor, both historically and today. We’ll be joined by experts who will share their knowledge.

We’ll meet near Drake’s Reservoir at the University of Plymouth. The walk will be gentle, and we aim to be as accessible as possible.

The walk will take place 10am - 12 noon, we will then head to the Sustainability Hub, University of Plymouth for tea & cake, creative activities and the chance to share our learning.

If you are unable to join us for the walk then come along to the Sustainability Hub from 12 noon - 2pm, everyone welcome to join us here too.

Full details of the walking route and our experts will be confirmed nearer the time.

All welcome to join us at this free event which will form part of Heritage Open Days.
