Help the team create lanterns for the upcoming production by learning how to make simple handheld lanterns from hazel or willow, wet strength tissue paper, PVA glue and a battery light. The lanterns will be inspired by the flora and fauna that can be found at Kingston Lacy and will feature in the Wimborne Community Theatre production, ‘Belonging, A search for Home’ (lanterns will need to be left at Kingston Lacy and not taken home with visitors).

There will also be a larger set piece in progress that you will be able to contribute to as little or as much as you would like.

The skills you will learn can be adapted to year-round celebrations at home.

Normal admission charges applies. National Trust members will need to show their membership cards at Visitor Reception and non-members will need to pay the admission price (from £23 per adult, £11.50 per child) or join the National Trust.
