Part of Aspex's Autumn Communal programme, The Season of Stillness is a workshop for women to gather in community, rest, reflect & reconnect

As the days grow shorter and the pace of life begins to slow, The Season of Stillness offers a space for women to gather in community, rest, reflect and reconnect.

Rooted in the seasonal rhythms of winter, the circle explores how community is formed during the quieter, darker months of the year. Hosted by Jolene Farren, the session combines guided meditation, seasonal reflection, gentle creative activities and shared conversation. Participants will be invited to contribute their thoughts, stories and experiences, creating a collectively held space. Inspired by nature’s quieter season, these circles encourage connection, collective care and meaningful presence.

The gathering is open to women of all ages and backgrounds, particularly those seeking meaningful connection and a sense of belonging during the darker months. Whether attending alone or with friends, come and settle into stillness, connect with others and explore the wisdom of winter.
