South Downs National Park | 12km | Approx. 4–5 hours | Rolling Hills & Woodland Trails
Grade: Easy–Moderate
Join Muslim Hikers for a scenic autumn hike through the beautiful landscapes of the South Downs National Park, in partnership with the South Downs National Park Authority.
Our circular route takes us through ancient woodland, rolling chalk hills and picturesque countryside, showcasing some of the finest landscapes East Hampshire has to offer. Along the way we'll discover peaceful woodland trails, sweeping viewpoints and historic landscapes shaped over thousands of years, from Bronze Age settlements to Roman routes and traditional English villages.
Late September is a wonderful time to experience the South Downs, with woodland beginning to display its autumn colours and far-reaching views across one of England's most treasured national parks.
Whether you're joining us for the scenery, the history or simply to spend the day outdoors with like-minded people, this promises to be another memorable Muslim Hikers adventure.
While this hike is graded easy–moderate and is suitable for beginners, participants should still expect several hours on their feet, gentle climbs and uneven woodland trails.
As always, our hikes are fully guided, inclusive and open to anyone looking to experience the outdoors in a welcoming and supportive environment.
