A colourful, hands on painting workshop celebrating culture, identity and self expression. Inspired by Black History Month, you will have the option to paint from pre-drawn canvases featuring influential figures from Black History and culture or start with a blank canvas and create something completely of your own. We will experiment with bright acrylic paint, palette knives, sponges and mark making techniques, whilst exploring the people, places, heritage, experiences and influences that mean something to you. There are no rules and no experience needed, whether you want to celebrate your culture, take inspiration from Black History or simply create something you love, the canvas is yours. Location in the building: The Studio.
