Forget the awkward freshers' icebreakers. This is where Freshers actually start.

3 HOURS. A ROOM FULL OF GAMES. FOOD. MUSIC. CHAOS. PRIZES. AND AN ENTIRE CAMPUS WORTH OF NEW PEOPLE TO MEET.

We’re taking Games Night way beyond Monopoly and a pack of cards. Expect competitive team games, challenges, classics, unexpected match-ups and the kind of games that will have the whole room involved.

Come hungry because FOOD IS PART OF THE NIGHT 🍕🍗

Come competitive because there will be WINNERS, LOSERS AND BRAGGING RIGHTS.

Come single, come with your flatmates, come with the people you met literally 20 minutes ago;  we genuinely do not care. By 10 PM you’ll probably know half the room anyway.

And if you’re thinking “I don’t know anyone yet”…

THAT IS LITERALLY THE POINT.

This is your chance to meet the Black community at Reading before everyone disappears into their friendship groups for the year 😭
