About This Event

The Crowthorne Chess Club meets at the Morgan Centre in Reading on 30 September 2026 for games suitable for all ages and skill levels. Entry is free of charge for players from Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire.

Crowthorne Chess Club welcomes players of all ages, Juniors, Adults, Seniors and of all skill levels, from Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire.

Crowthorne Chess Club welcomes players of all ages, Juniors, Adults, Seniors and of all skill levels, from Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire. The club has beginners through to top chess league players and an International Master. The club has teams in the Berkshire League, the Surrey Border League and the Four Nations League (4NCL).

All are welcome to come along on a Wednesday evening to see the club, play some chess, talk with members and club officials (https://crowthornechess.org.uk/)

We meet as follows:

Juniors, 6:15pm to 7:15 Wednesday,

Team matches 7:30pm Wednesday,

Social chess from 8pm Thursday"
