29th October - Dave Hartnett: Finding Hidden Gold

If your property search starts and ends with Rightmove, Zoopla and what local agents send you, you are often looking at the same opportunities as everybody else.

That can mean more competition and a lot of time spent looking at properties that do not stack up.

Dave Hartnett will explain how he approaches off-market property and builds a pipeline of potential deals before they reach the wider market.

Finding the owner is only the start. You still need to decide whether the numbers work, what you are prepared to pay, how the deal could be structured and how it will be funded.

The evening will also cover joint ventures and creative finance, giving you more options to consider when a straightforward purchase is not the only way a deal could work.

29th November - Adam Lawrence: The AI Advantage

Property investors are hearing a lot about AI. The useful question is where it can actually save you time.

Adam Lawrence will look at how AI can help with work you are already doing, including researching opportunities, working through information, communication, admin and property management.

The aim is not to add another piece of software to your business. It is to understand where AI can reduce repetitive work and where your own judgement still matters.

If you are curious about AI but unsure how it fits into the reality of buying, selling or managing property, this session will give you practical examples to work from.
