About This Event

A church service to remember the fallen takes place at Sandham Memorial Chapel, the only UK monument to First World War soldiers who died after 1918. Tickets are free.

At the only UK monument to First World War soldiers who died after 1918, you are invited to this church service to remember the fallen. The service will be led by an ex Army Padre and National Trust volunteer. There will be a traditional church service retiring collection.

If you would like to lay a wreath or wooden cross please contact us on 01635 278 394 so we can arrange this for you. Entry is free for this event but please bring your National Trust membership card if you have one.

This annual Remembrance Service will take place in the orchard in front of the chapel. Afterwards tea and coffee will be available for a £2.50 donation in the Garden of Reflection behind the chapel. This can be paid by card or cash and monies will be split between the National Trust and Royal British Legion.
