October meeting
Our next monthly support meeting at RISC is on Monday 12th October 2026 at 7.30pm.
This year's World Mental Health Day campaign is 'Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change'. It's all about getting organisations to engage PWLE (people with lived experience) to shape policies & services. World Mental Health Day 2026 (https://www.who.int/campaigns/world-mental-health-day/2026)
With that in mind we will be hosting a group discussion around how to have meaningful conversations about mental health. We'll share tips on how to talk about your mental health confidently & how to provide a safe space to listen to others talking about their mental health. These skills are at the core of peer support & what Depression Xpression does.
There will be time for questions and discussion with free refreshments.
Please book a free ticket to attend. As always, our meetings are completely free of charge and everyone is welcome. We aim to provide a safe and confidential environment where everyone is listened to and treated with respect.
