About This Event

We're Going on a Ghost Hunt™ returns to Basildon Park in Reading on 24 October 2026 for a Halloween storytelling session. Performers will follow The Bunnies of Hoppity Hill as they search for hidden ghosts, discover pumpkins, bats and owls, and enjoy a wonderfully spooky adventure together. The event features music alongside the narrative journey through the grounds. Admission is required for entry to this outdoor experience.

Packed with storytelling fun, music and gentle spookiness, its the perfect event for little trick-or-treaters.

The sessions will be on Saturday 24 October and there will 3 storytelling sessions throughout the day, each lasting half an hour.

10:30am to 11am in the Garden Room

11:30am to 12pm in the 50s Kitchen

1pm to 1:30pm in the 50s Kitchen

Each session will have limited spaces and be on a first come first serve basis. Collect your timed ticket from Visitor Reception. All children must be accompanied for the whole session by an adult.
