Join Man About Country on an exciting story walk around Langdon Nature Discovery Park.
James Lawrence, AKA Man About Country, is a storyteller, adventurer and naturalist. For over 5 years he’s led walks around some of Britain’s most fascinating places, guiding people to discover the country like never before.
James is fresh off the Essex Ways: a 400km walking adventure around his home county to discover its best places, people and stories. He set out to bust the negative media stereotypes and prove that Essex is one of the most fascinating counties in England.
Now James is teaming up with Essex Wildlife Trust to lead an exciting story walk around Langdon Nature Discovery Park. On this walk, you’ll venture deep into this beautiful corner of Essex, rich in wildlife and with varied habitats to explore. You’ll also hear some of the stories from the local area, including magic wells, fearsome dragons, and the pioneering Plotlanders of the original Essex dream.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, and be advised there will be uphill walking.
£15 per person.
Langdon Nature Discovery Park features a café, picnic area, and wildlife trails, including the Peter Rabbit nature trail, along with a wildlife gift shop, disabled access, baby-changing facilities, and a large free car park.
