A fantastic workshop for children to learn how to make felt wildlife art!

Suitable for children aged 5+ with an accompanying adult.

Choose from local wildlife inspirations such as puffins, crabs and fish, to create a beautiful piece of felt artwork using wool, soap and water. Felting is a fabulous way to turn natural fibres into a wonderful creature creation. This is a hands-on workshop - an accompanying adult is required to support children to make their felt. Session is run by Thread and Press CIC.

Accessibility and terrain

This event takes place indoors at the Living Seas Events Centre. There is wheelchair access to the centre.

What to bring/wear

Please wear something comfortable that you are happy to craft in.

Toilets and catering

The Scrumdiddlyumptious by the Sea cafe is open 9am to 2pm, Wednesday to Sunday.

Parking

There is ample parking available for both cars and coaches right outside the Living Seas Events Centre. Parking is controlled by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and charges apply.

Cancellation and refunds

In the situation that Yorkshire Wildlife Trust needs to cancel an event we will be in touch regarding your booking via email and our Supporter Services team will process the refund of your tickets as soon as possible. Please allow up to 5 working days for this to happen. If you, or members of your party, are unable to attend your booked event, you are eligible for a refund up to 7 days before the event date.
