About This Event

Join us for a delightful series of birdwatching excursions through Scarborough's beautiful parks this Summer & Fall. Whether you're a seasoned birder or new to the hobby, our guided walks offer a fantastic opportunity to learn about and observe the diverse bird species that call our local parks home and are passing through during the limited migration window. We will have two sessions per location.

Series Dates and Locations:

Details:

Early Bird Time: 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM

Later Bird Time: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Meeting Point: Specific meeting locations within each park will be emailed to registered participants prior to the event.

Special Instructions for Participants:

RSVP Required for Binoculars: Binoculars will be provided free of charge to those who RSVP. Availability is limited, so please register early to ensure you have a pair reserved for your use! For meet up location just contact us through social media or email at scarbenvasc@gmail.com when the signups open for your preferred date.

Experienced Birders: If you have your own binoculars and do not require a pair from us, there's no need to RSVP — feel free to join us directly at the location and time mentioned.

What to Bring:

Comfortable walking shoes

Weather-appropriate clothing

Water and snacks

Pants and long-socks for ticks

Weather Policy:Events will proceed rain or shine, except in the case of severe weather warnings. Updates will be provided to all registered participants as necessary.

Cost:Free! Our birdwatching series is completely free, making it a wonderful way to enjoy nature, learn about local wildlife, and meet fellow bird enthusiasts.
