What future are you imagining? Thrutopia is a new and developing genre, part of the Cli-Fi stable, which imagines a more sustainable future

This experiential workshop will explore writing Thrutopia via gently facilitated exercises and activities. It intends to encourage creativity and flights of imagination, while staying rooted in the current environmental situation. Bring pen and paper (or any method of writing) and an open mind and let’s see what future we can imagine together.

Kate Evans is a published author. Most recently, she wrote a trilogy of crime novels - A Wake of Crows, Drowning Not Waving and No Justice. She has also written non-fiction and poetry. Kate has run creative writing workshops and courses in the community, for literature festivals, and was a tutor for Hull University’s BA in Creative Writing.
