We are getting the group together this Sunday morning for a relaxed session of urban sketching right here in Bromley. The idea is simple: we pick a spot, find a comfortable place to sit, and spend a couple of hours capturing the local scenery in our sketchbooks. Whether you have been drawing for years or are just looking for an excuse to get outside and try something new, this is a low-pressure space to focus on your art and enjoy some quiet time with others. You do not need to be a professional artist to join us; it is really just about the process of observing and drawing. Bring whatever materials you are most comfortable with, whether that is a basic pencil, a set of watercolors, or a simple pen. We will meet at the designated spot, sketch for a while, and then take a few minutes at the end to chat about what we have worked on if you feel like sharing. If you have a free Sunday morning and want to join us for some drawing, please let us know you are coming by updating your RSVP. It helps me get a better idea of who to look out for when we gather.
