This month we will be looking at picture books by GLL Literary Foundation authors Jesse Kaur and Alom Shaha

For the remainder of this year each month we will be focusing on a GLL Literary Foundation author. The GLL Literary Foundation is a support programme for authors, which champions public libraries and inspires reading.

Join us for a brilliant session this month when we will be sharing 'When Nani, When?' written by Jesse Kaur and illustrated by Fiona Rose and also 'How to find a rainbow' written by Alom Shaha and illustrated by Sarthak, Sinha.

After the stories we will be taking part in related craft activities.

For children aged 4-7 and their parents and carers.

Just over a year ago, GLL launched the GLL Literary Foundation to support early career children’s authors, inspire children to engage in reading and to champion public libraries.

During its first year, the Foundation supported 20 children’s authors to deliver over 60 events in Bromley, Greenwich, Wandsworth, Dudley and Lincolnshire, engaging more than 3,000 children and over 500 adults in reading.

This is an incredibly exciting and unique initiative, offering us the opportunity to champion and support our local authors, get inclusive books into the hands of children and connect them to authors who will engage and inspire them!

Each ticket is for 1 adult and 1 child. If you are coming with more than 1 adult or more than 1 child, please book additional tickets.

Tickets are free but places are limited, so if you are unable to attend, please cancel so the place can be used by someone else.
