At Arise, we are driven by a shared vision - to see Sheffield transformed by the love of Jesus. And here's where we need your help to make this vision a reality, especially as we approach the Halloween season.

Halloween, often associated with darkness, offers a unique opportunity for us to shine the light of Jesus brighter than ever before. We believe that, together, we can change the conversation in this season and centre it on the glory of Jesus.

Each year Arise:Hallow encourages, equips and engages Christians in Sheffield to reshape the way we respond to Halloween and share the love of Jesus within our communities for years to come.

Open a conversation - How can I be more open with my faith?

Open your door - What do I say when my neighbours knock on my door?

Open your church - Should I do a light party?

Open your school / community - What is the Happy Halloween Project?

🌃 Why Hallow?

As Christians, the way that our culture seems to revel in Halloween can feel uncomfortable, scary even. For some of Jesus' original disciples, feasting at the house of a tax collector might have felt similar. But Jesus knew that the people there needed him, and when he met them they were transformed.

Halloween is full of really exciting opportunities to share the Gospel. Families are outside, admiring decorated houses, knocking on doors asking for treats. People across Sheffield are trying to feel something different. As the darkness draws in this is a great season to shine your light!

So, this Halloween, Arise is inviting you to take Halloween traditions and turn them upside down. When children ask for treats, let's give them truth. Instead of fear, let's offer faith.

There are a limited number of free car parking spaces available in The Message Trust car park (accessed via Tadcaster Road), so once full there is on street parking available.
