Within the Aetherius Society, prayer is understood as a spiritual science — a conscious way of invoking and directing spiritual energy.

In this first session, we begin exploring how we can become more focused and conscious in our prayers through the First Blessing, whose focal point is those who work for peace.

What we'll explore:

The nature of spiritual energy and prayer

How to focus concentration on the key words and concepts within a prayer

The importance of understanding, feeling and love

How spiritual energy can be consciously directed towards a focal point

The First Blessing and its focus on peace

The session will include selected extracts from lectures by Dr. George King, offering practical guidance on how to approach the prayers with greater concentration and awareness.

This will be followed by guided practical work, giving participants the opportunity to put the teachings into practice.

No previous experience is necessary.
