About this Event

The DSCP Neglect Conference brings together professionals from across Doncaster's multi-agency partnership to explore, strengthen and enhance our collective response to child neglect.

The conference will provide the official launch of the Doncaster Safeguarding Children Partnership (DSCP) Neglect Strategy, setting out our shared vision and priorities for improving outcomes for children and young people. Through keynote presentations, practice-focused discussions and interactive learning opportunities, delegates will gain a deeper understanding of the impact of neglect, current challenges facing families, and effective approaches to identification, assessment and intervention.

Topics will include the relationship between neglect and poverty, educational neglect, dental neglect, trauma-informed practice, and the tools and resources available to support practitioners in their work with children, young people and families.

This event is designed for practitioners, managers and leaders from all sectors who work with children, young people and families. It offers an opportunity to share learning, build professional networks and contribute to a stronger, more consistent partnership approach to safeguarding children across Doncaster.
