Gather round our fireside table as we explore the ancient rituals, customs and long forgotten folklore of Britain...

There will be wild foraged tastes, peculiar tales, and hands on show and tells! John Barleycorn must die! But first, we feast!

As always we will be serving up the seasonal harvest in a specially curated tasting menu designed to connect you to land and lore. You'll be seated amongst the greeneries of BS2 in an intimate setting, surrounded by trees.

As the Sun sets on Summer, join us as we celebrate the spirit of the harvest.

Light and dark stand in perfect balance. It is the time of abundance and yet the mythical Green Man begins his quiet descent into winter... so come gather now...

Sell out warning! These pop up events prove very popular. Due to the intimate nature of our gathering and small-batch wild ingredients, spaces for this ritual tasting are strictly limited.

The setting is covered but open space, on uneven ground so please dress for the season.

Hosts:

Rachael Fountain, curator of Bristol's Witchcraft Exhibition, is a lifelong collector and creator of the unusual! Be that plants, costumes or experiences. She's had her green fingers in many gardens Worldwide incl the Eden Project. She was honoured to be asked to perform at COP26 conference.

Marie Danielle, founder of Steel Group Caps is a microgreen and mushroom farmer based in Sheffield. She'll be bringing her practical knowledge, herbal medicinal interest, and wealth of experience to our abundant table. A regular at eccentric traditional British and European folkloric events, you can always expect the unexpected!
