Join members of Weston Park's Writing through Cancer group as they launch their collection of writing - Fragments of Light

During 2026 a group of women who live with cancer have taken part in a series of workshops run by local author, Beverley Ward, thanks to funding from Weston Park Cancer Charity. Meeting weekly, the women have written about their experiences from a range of angles, sharing their stories and finding friendship and solidarity in the process.

Now they are bringing their words out into the world as they launch this powerful collection of writing which will provide solace for other people who find themselves on this unexpected path, and support for anyone who is caring for a friend, relative or patient with cancer.

Come and join these briliiant women as they share poetry and prose from the book whilst raising funds for the vital work of Weston Park Cancer Charity.

All funds from ticket sales and the sale of the book with go to WPCC.
