Visitors
Looking for a job, apprenticeship, or career inspiration? Come along to Rotherham’s annual Jobs and Careers Fair – now in its 14th successful year! This interactive career event provides a fantastic opportunity to:
Connect with local employers, education providers, and training organisations
Explore live job vacancies, apprenticeships, and volunteering roles
Get practical advice on career pathways and how to get into work
Open to everyone – jobseekers, students, career changers and anyone wanting to explore new opportunities.
Admission is free, and while you are welcome to book through Eventbrite, no booking is required. Just drop in anytime between 9am and 2pm on the day.
School Visitors
LEAF provides a fantastic opportunity for secondary school, college, and SEND students to engage with employers and learn about the types of jobs available in their businesses. Students can ask questions about career pathways, current and upcoming vacancies, as well as apprenticeships, internships, and work experience opportunities.
Students from Rotherham schools can also take part in bookable workshops, and a LEAF Bingo activity, designed to encourage interaction with employers.

If you are a student and wish to attend LEAF independently, no booking is required – you can drop in anytime between 9am and 2pm.

LEAF 2026 Partners
LEAF partner, the Mears Group is a housing solutions and social care provider that manages the repairs and maintenance of social homes for Rotherham Metropolitan Council. They will be attending LEAF26 to promote their apprenticeship opportunities and any vacancies they may have.
Jobcentre Plus, partners of LEAF26, will be offering information on the wide range of careers and apprenticeships available in the Civil Service.
LEAF 2026 Patrons
The RNN Group provides courses and apprenticeships for both school leavers and adults, including higher education at University Centre Rotherham (UCR). They specialise in career-focused courses, giving students hands-on experience to develop the crucial skills needed for employment. Staff are looking to speak to adults about opportunities to retrain, and local school students about the opportunities available at Rotherham College, Dearne Valley College, and North Notts College. They will also be promoting job opportunities available to work at the college itself.
Pathways to Work is a tailored employment and health programme supporting residents who are unemployed or economically inactive. Managed in South Yorkshire by the Mayoral Combined Authority and delivered in Rotherham by the local authority and partners, it provides one-to-one coaching, training, and personalised support to help individuals overcome barriers such as health conditions or complex needs. Its aim is to help people move closer to work, enter employment, return to work, and sustain meaningful careers. Pathways to Work also offers tailored support for employers through inclusive recruitment, workforce development, and wellbeing services, helping people stay in work, progress in their careers, and improve their lives.
