About This Event

A Reflective Guided Walk will take place at the Wooden Pole Car Park in the Peak District on 30th October 2026, allowing participants to slow down and create space to let go before the season changes.

Slow down this autumn and create space to let go before the season changes with this Reflective Guided Walk

Join Peak & Bloom for a Reflective Guided Walk in the Peak District, exploring the enchanting woodland of Padley Gorge and the surrounding landscapes during one of the most beautiful times of year.

As the leaves begin to fall and nature prepares for winter, we'll use the landscape as inspiration for guided reflection, nature connection and optional journaling, creating space to pause, release what no longer serves us and step into the quieter season ahead with greater clarity.

This is more than a guided walk - it's an opportunity to reconnect with yourself through nature.

👣 About This Reflective Peak District Walk

This beautiful 8km circular walk explores the ancient woodland, streams and rocky landscapes around Padley Gorge, taking in:

🍂 The stunning autumn colours of Padley Gorge

🌳 Ancient woodland and peaceful forest trails

💧 The soothing sounds of the flowing brook

🪨 Moss-covered rocks and beautiful natural scenery

🌄 Open viewpoints across the surrounding Peak District landscape

🌿 Quiet places to pause, reflect and journal

☕Option to pause at the Longhaw Estate Cafe for a hot drink and more chat before heading back to our cars.

During the walk we'll stop at a carefully chosen location where I'll guide you through gentle reflective prompts inspired by the changing season.

Autumn reminds us that letting go isn't an ending - it's a natural part of making space for what's next.

There is no pressure to share your reflections. This is your time to think, write, chat or simply enjoy being immersed in nature.

As with all Peak & Bloom walks, we move at a relaxed, accessible pace with no one left behind, creating plenty of space to enjoy both the journey and the conversations.

🍁 This Season's Reflection Theme: Letting Go

Nature has a remarkable way of showing us that change doesn't have to be feared.

As the trees release their leaves, we'll gently explore what we might also be ready to release.

Perhaps it's:

🍂 Expectations you've been carrying

🍂 Self-doubt or limiting beliefs

🍂 Stress or mental clutter

🍂 Something that's no longer helping you move forward

Through guided prompts, quiet moments and optional journaling, you'll have the opportunity to reflect on what you're ready to let go of before stepping into winter with greater intention.

🌿 What Makes This Walk Different?

This isn't therapy, and it isn't a workshop.

It's a relaxed guided walk designed to help you slow down, reconnect with nature and create space to think.

Throughout out time you'll experience:

🌿 A professionally led walk with a qualified Hill & Moorland Leader and Life & Career Coach

🌿 Gentle seasonal reflection prompts

🌿 Nature connection exercises inspired by the landscape

🌿 Optional guided journaling

🌿 Quiet moments for personal reflection

🌿 Meaningful conversations - or peaceful silence if that's what you need

🌿 A warm and welcoming atmosphere with no pressure to share
