A relaxed drop-in coworking day in Sheffield to work, connect, enjoy some quiet focus or good conversation, followed by an optional 5km social jog/run or 3km social walk around Kelham, then an Oktoberfest-style social back at Heist.

We’re back for another Sheffield Business Community Coworking Day, and this time we’re taking over Heist Brewery in Kelham.

Come along for the morning, drop in during the afternoon, or spend the full day with us. It’s completely flexible, so turn up whenever works for you.

Cowork, connect and meet good people

The Sheffield Business Community Coworking Day brings together local founders, freelancers, remote workers, creatives, business owners and professionals for a relaxed day of working alongside each other.

There’s no awkward networking, no formal agenda and no pressure to pitch yourself.

Just bring your laptop, grab a seat and get some work done around a great group of people.

Whether you want to meet new people, have a few conversations, collaborate, get out of the home office or simply have a productive change of scenery, you’re welcome.

There’ll be space for conversation as well as quieter focused work, so you can use the day however suits you.

Stay for an hour, a morning or the whole day.

Then we’re getting out for a walk, jog or run 🚶‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Once the laptops close, we’ll swap coworking for getting outside and moving.

At around 4.30/4.45pm, we’ll head out around Kelham with two social options:

🚶 3km social walk

This is a big part of the afternoon, not an afterthought.

If running isn’t your thing, join us for a relaxed 3km walk around Kelham. It’s all about getting away from the laptop, having a proper chat and carrying on the conversations from the coworking day while getting some fresh air.

No pace to keep up with, no pressure and absolutely no need to be a runner.

🏃 5km social jog/run

For those who fancy something a little quicker, there’ll also be a relaxed 5km jog/run around Kelham.

Again, this isn’t a race. It’s social, there’ll be different paces and the aim is to enjoy it rather than chase a time.

Whether you choose the 3km walk or the 5km jog/run, we’ll all head back to Heist afterwards.

You’re also welcome to join us just for the walk or run, so you don’t need to have attended the coworking day.

Then it’s Oktoberfest at Heist 🍻🥨

Once everyone’s back, we’ll switch into the social side of the day with an Oktoberfest-inspired evening at Heist Brewery.

Think beers, good food, good people and plenty of conversation.

No laptops. No formal networking. Just a chance to properly switch off, grab a drink and enjoy the evening together.

You’re welcome to stay after the walk or run, head down after work, or join us just for the Oktoberfest social.

So whether you’re coming to cowork, walk, jog, run, grab a stein, or do the full lot, you’re more than welcome.

If you’d like lunch during the coworking day, simply select the lunch option when booking your ticket.

That way you can stay at Heist, grab some food and carry on working, chatting and connecting without having to disappear halfway through the day.
