Creative Journalling & Confidence Programme for Girls Aged 10-14
Who am I? What makes me unique? How can I feel more confident being myself?
This is ME is a supportive and creative journalling programme designed to help girls aged 10-14 build confidence, self-esteem and emotional wellbeing while connecting with others their age.
Through creative journalling, fun activities, group discussions and self-reflection, participants will explore their thoughts, feelings, strengths, and values in a safe and welcoming environment.
The programme helps girls develop confidence in communicating with others, reduce anxieties around social interaction and build friendships with peers who may be experiencing similar challenges. Together, they will learn that they are not alone and can support one another through life's ups and downs.
This workshop helps participants to:
· Build confidence and self-esteem.
· Explore and express thoughts, feelings, and emotions in a healthy way.
· Develop friendships and supportive peer connections.
· Manage worries and anxiety more effectively.
· Navigate the transition from primary to secondary school with greater confidence.
· Recognise and celebrate their unique strengths and qualities.
· Understand that nobody is perfect and that being themselves is enough.
· Develop resilience and positive coping strategies for life's challenges.
· Feel heard, valued, and supported in a safe environment.
By the end of the programme, participants will have practical tools to support their wellbeing, increased confidence in expressing themselves, and a greater appreciation of who they are and all they have to offer.
