A monthly creative writing workshop for global majority writers to unravel those untold stories.
Unravel your untold stories in a safe, supportive space facilitated by award winning local writer, Narimaan Shafi.
In this workshop we'll explore the personal narratives and histories that we carry with us, through creative writing exercises. Suitable for anyone with an interest in writing who identifies as global majority*. All levels of writing experience welcome.
*Global majority refers to people who are "black, Asian, brown, dual-heritage, indigenous to the global south, and or have been racialised as 'ethnic minorities'" and "represent approximately 80% of the world's population", according to educator and activist Rosemary Campbell-Stephens MBE, who coined the term.
