About the event

Join the local community for a screening of Bodies of Evidence, presented by Woodseats 4 Palestine. Followed by a discussion.

Imprisonment, maltreatment and torture are age old tools of colonial powers used to control and subjugate the indigenous people whose lands they have taken. Israel follows the pattern established by earlier colonising powers including Britain.

This remarkable film exposes the truth about Israel's prison system, putting Palestinian testimony at its heart. Legal experts add their analysis of the current imprisonment of 9,000 Palestinians - close to 350 of whom are children.

Warning: throughout the film, prisoners give detailed accounts of torture, including sexual violence, inflicted on them in Israeli prisons.

Free them all!
