About This Event

The Autumn equinox event brings Sunday Gongs with Grace to Rushbury Village Hall in Shrewsbury on 20 September 2026, at 2pm. The event features sound vibrations with Grace and the Gong Quartet. The price for attendance is £15.

Join Grace and the Gong Quartet for an afternoon of sound vibrations

Join us for a powerful and deeply restorative harvest summer Gong Bath—a unique sound journey to celebrate the turning of the seasons.

When was the last time you truly rested? Not slept. Not watched TV. Not scrolled your phone.Actually rested.

Modern research is increasingly highlighting the importance of deep restorative rest for nervous system regulation, stress recovery, emotional wellbeing, and overall health. Yet many of us spend our days moving from one demand to the next, rarely allowing ourselves time to simply be.

A Gong Relaxation offers a space to pause. As you lie comfortably wrapped in blankets, the rich sounds and vibrations of the gongs create an immersive soundscape that can help quiet a busy mind, release tension, and encourage a profound state of relaxation.

Many participants describe feeling calmer, lighter, and deeply refreshed afterwards. There is nothing to do, nowhere to go, and nothing to achieve. Just an opportunity to rest.

In a culture that celebrates busyness, choosing rest can be one of the most powerful acts of self-care. Restore your energy Soothe your nervous system Release tension and stress Reconnect with yourself

Experience the healing power of deep rest

Come and experience an afternoon of sound, stillness, and restoration.

Because rest isn’t something we earn when everything is finished.

Rest is something we need to thrive.

The vibrational frequencies of the sounds permeate into your body at a cellular level improving your mood, lowering blood pressure, reducing stress factors, anxiety, depression & insomnia.

We start with some simple stretches to release the vagus nerve and that take us deeper into relaxation and then lie back, relax and float on the current of the sound vibrations. After the gongs, we ease back slowly, re‑ground with tea and nourishing snacks, and simply share the space together.

So come - step out of the madness and have a unique experience!

No experience necessary—just bring yourself, something comfortable to lie on, and an open heart.
