How would you like to meet some friendly donkeys?  Every weekend the Sathya Sai Sanctuary opens its’ gates to visitors. It’s a relaxed way to spend some time outdoors and enjoy the company of these gentle animals.

We open from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays. While entry is free, donations to support the care of the donkeys are gratefully accepted. You can see the donkeys up close and learn a little about their daily lives at the sanctuary. Bring the family or come on your own to enjoy this simple day out in a calm setting.

What to expect:

• Meet and see the donkeys in a friendly environment

• Open every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays from April to September

• A relaxed outdoor spot suitable for families and visitors of all ages

• Opportunity to learn about the sanctuary and its animals

• Visit our information shed, which also has a small shop

• The visit is outdoors, so suitable clothing for the weather is recommended

• No formal guided tours but staff or volunteers will be available to answer questions
