Clean Energy South - Supporting sustainable and affordable energy for businesses, employers and homes across Hampshire and the Solent

You are invited to the launch of Clean Energy South by the University of Southampton and Business South.

Join regional public and private sector leaders to discuss the clean energy future for the region and actions to drive progress.

The Civic Univeristy team at the University of Southampton together with the Sustainability and Resilience Institute and Business South's Energy and Utilities Action Group will showcase a new analysis of the challenges and opportunities facing Hampshire and the Solent's transition to clean, affordable energy.

This event will explore key findings from their report and discuss actions, innovation, the research gaps, as well as regional and national policies needed to strengthen energy security, expand renewable energy, develop skills and jobs, and engage communities in the transition.

Details of funding to support the development of new ideas to achieve these aims will be announed.
