Joining thousands of attendees from across NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight, this celebration offers a diverse range of sessions featuring expert speakers and panel discussions. The festival atmosphere is vibrant with interactive workshops and networking opportunities, fostering collaboration and improving healthcare for all.
Join us during QI Week for our second system‑wide collaborative event, championing this year’s theme: QI is for everyone.
This interactive event is an opportunity to bring together people from Hampshire and the Isle of Wight — and beyond — to share, learn and connect as we build a community of continuous improvement and learning.
Last year’s attendees described the day as “a really inspiring day,” “a unique event,” and “a lovely, collaborative and thought‑provoking day.” Many told us it “helped me feel more motivated when motivation can be hard to come by” and that they made “several key contacts” that continued long after the event.
The day is for anyone who works in, or with, the health and care sector across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight or the surrounding area, who want to make a difference, no matter how small. You don’t need to be leading a formal QI project or working in an improvement role. As one participant put it, “QI really IS for everyone.” Another reminded us that “the smallest effort can make the biggest difference.” If you’ve ever spotted something that could work better, supported a colleague, tried a new approach, or simply care about improving experiences for patients, staff or communities — you belong here.
People valued the mix of voices and perspectives, telling us that “seeing people from across sectors made me realise how powerful collaboration across boundaries can be” and that the event showcased “the sheer amount of fantastic work going on around HIOW that we are mostly unaware of.” Others highlighted how energising it felt to be together: “Great speakers, great venue, great networking.”
We are curating an engaging programme that will showcase local improvement work and celebrate the people, ideas and collaborations driving positive change across our area. Last year’s sessions were described as “varied and relevant” and “incredibly inspiring.”
This event is funded through the Q Community’s Supporting Q Connections programme, by the Health Foundation.
