About This Event

A talk focused on recognising and responding to cancer-related psychological distress is scheduled at voco Southampton by IHG in Southampton on 5 October 2026 at 12:30pm, with free admission for supportive and assistive workforce members.

Designed specifically for the supportive and assistive workforces.

This targeted training package aims to help staff to recognise and respond appropriately when patients show signs of psychological distress in relation to their cancer investigations or diagnosis.

Details

Delivered by psychological professionals participants are guided to recognise different types of distress, before considering the best strategies to respond to emotional distress including onward referral.
