About This Event

RS Aqua will be hosting its Education Day 2026 on September 18, 2026, at Andark Lake in Southampton from 10:00 am. The event aims to provide an immersive learning experience focusing on ocean technology through practical workshops and demonstrations. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with industry experts who will use real equipment and data to enhance their understanding. This hands-on approach ensures that attendees can explore potential career paths in this field, making it a valuable educational experience for everyone involved. Admission is free, offering an accessible platform for individuals from diverse backgrounds to gain insights into ocean technology and its applications.

Attendees will work with submersible robots, underwater noise recorders, environmental monitoring sensors and fish tracking technology. Participants will export real data from their research and may share their findings for a chance to be featured on social media. One standout submission will be considered for a bursary and further experience through the Deep End Programme.

The event runs from 10am to 4pm. Food and drinks are provided, and a travel bursary of £20 is available. Tickets cost nothing.
