About This Event

The Leigh-on-Sea Running Festival is set to begin at Leigh Marina on the morning of 25 October 2026. This new festival in Southend On Sea offers distances including a 5K and half marathon options. Entry fees range from £18.00 to £36.00.

Welcome to the Leigh-on-Sea Running Festival – a brand-new festival in Leigh-on-Sea. Choose from a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon and experience stunning coastal scenery, an exciting event atmosphere and professional race organisation from start to finish.

Whether you're chasing a personal best or simply enjoying the day, the LOS Run Fest is designed to bring runners of all abilities together for an unforgettable festival of running.

New Course

Whilst the event shares a small section with the Leigh-on-Sea 10K Classic, the majority of the route is brand new, taking runners on a fresh journey through Leigh-on-Sea. Whether you ran the Classic or not, expect a completely different race-day experience.
