You then have the option of staying to enjoy a delicious meal of fish and chips or scampi at an old 15th Century inn on the quayside, with super views over the water (morning tour only).

Hear the story of the Fat Man of Maldon, in his lifetime, he was considered to be the ‘fattest man in England!’
Visit the Tourist Information Centre for a 15 minute stop where you can purchase beautiful gifts and postcards.
Hear of Maldon’s famous sea salt and the stories of the Salt Merchant Love Rats!
Enjoy delicious Cream Teas or High Teas after the Tour, see website for ticket bookings
The Walk
This is easy street walking, but we will be walking for up to 1 hour.
This tour is wheel chair friendly but not suitable for those with walking difficulties
Well behaved dogs are welcome on a lead please at all times during the tour.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes

Coffee and Cake and Toilet Stop

Meet at The Blue Boar Hotel and Inn, a beautiful 14th century former Stage Coach Inn, as our group coffee stop.
And enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and cake , and use of the toilets before the tour begins.
The Blue Boar Inn and Hotel is at the top of the High Street nr to the church, and The White Horse Lane Car Park!

Meet Jane your Tour Guide
Outside the Blue Boar Hotel and Inn and receive a warm welcome onto the Tour!
