Held within the beautiful Church of the Holy Rude, this workshop combines photography tuition with a fascinating insight into the church’s place in Scottish history. Participants will have the opportunity to photograph the church’s remarkable interior and surrounding historic setting while learning practical techniques to improve their photography.
Built in the 15th century and closely connected to the nearby Stirling Castle, the church is perhaps most famous as the coronation site of James VI of Scotland in 1567. Its Gothic architecture, stained glass, and centuries-old stonework provide a spectacular environment for photography. This relaxed and welcoming workshop is suitable for all experience levels, whether you are just beginning your photography journey or looking to refine your existing skills.
