The Poetography event at the University of Stirling in Stirling brings together poets and photographers. The event will take place on 5 September 2026 at the University of Stirling, with free admission.
Be inspired to photographic creativity by some of Scotland's established & up & coming poets, in the beautiful setting of Airthrey Loch.
Be one of the 1st to experience the newly created poetry path around Airthrey loch on the stunning campus of the University of Stirling.
Enjoy a unique collaboration between poets, nature and photographers on a guided walk around the loch, hearing poets recite their newly created poems with photographers encouraged to take photographs, inspired by each poem.
Lynda said “I was inspired to collaborate at last year's photography festival when at a workshop during Book Week we used photographs as prompts for poetry. The Poetry Path reverses that idea, placing original poems around the loch to inspire photographers to capture their own unique responses."
The festival launch will see poets performing their work in situ, creating a unique outdoor gallery where poetry, nature and photography come together! "
Lynda has collaborated closely with the team at Art Collection and participants are invited to submit photos and to be part of a Poetography exhibition with the University of Stirling 's Arts Collection in 2027.
