Join Jo & Kirsty for a few hours of Yoga, on Saturday 28th November… take a little escape from what’s become one of the busiest shopping days of the year… almost like a mini rebellion from consumerism, but a peaceful and nourishing rebellion!
IYENGAR YOGA
Iyengar Yoga’s attention to alignment and detail makes it ideal for beginners to yoga, and intermediate students, who want to gain a deeper understanding of their practice.
THE WORKSHOP
Workshops offer us an opportunity to explore and develop our practice, to reflect, refresh and hopefully reinvigorate our regular practice of Yoga.
The session will explore the purpose of instruction- how guidance shapes our practice and what we receive from it. Through movement and awareness, we’ll notice how intention and direction influence our experience on the mat, inviting clarity and deeper connection to our practice.
This workshop is open to anyone with a minimum of 6months experience of Yoga.

ABOUT JO
Jo attended her first Iyengar yoga class in Dunblane in 1998. She loved it and started teacher training in Perth, Australia in 2013 with no fixed idea of where it would lead. On her return to the UK, Jo completed the training in Glasgow. She continues to deepen her understanding and gain new insight by attending workshops with senior teachers. Jo attended the Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India in January 2018. Jo teaches weekly classes and enjoys teaching as much as she enjoys being a student!

Kirsty’s passion and enthusiasm for Iyengar Yoga is infectious, and her desire to encourage everyone to get on their yoga mat and enjoy their practice, regardless of their starting point, makes an inclusive environment.
